Billy Pilgrim at High Wire Distillery
Join us for the first STAC House Show of 2023, featuring musical performances by Billy Pilgrim and Kristian Bush, and hosted by Finnegan Bell.
Finnegan Bell is an acoustic duo based in Charleston with representation via Straight 8 Entertainment in Nashville. The duo, inspired by the love of playing writer’s rounds and listening rooms where songs and their stories can be fully shared and realized, teamed up with local purveyors of the arts and the local music scene about 7 years ago to curate a listening room concert series. These concerts, called “STAC House Shows,” took place at a historic semi-abandoned church in North Mount Pleasant and quickly became sell-outs and destination events, attracting bigger national artists like Will Hoge, Penny & Sparrow, John Paul White of the Civil Wars, Marc Broussard, and Edwin McCain.
The upcoming STAC House Show features Billy Pilgrim, who gained popularity during the late 90’s and early 2000’s as a national touring duo on a major label, with a huge following, particularly in the Southeast. Billy Pilgrim is made up of Kristian Bush and Andrew Hyra, with Kristian also being a founding member of Sugarland and Andrew settling in Mount Pleasant with his family. The two have recently started touring together, and this presented the perfect opportunity to snag them up for a STAC House Show. Kristian also drops his solo record on the day of the show, March 10.
STAC House is committed to finding unique venues and has found a brand new one in High Wire Distillery on Huger Street in Downtown Charleston. The distillery has a farm-to-table mission with their distilling process and has a love for live music, making it the perfect place to relaunch the STAC House Show concert series. Don’t miss out on this fantastic event!
