Finnegan Bell Artists of the Month
Finnegan Bell: March 2013 Grand Strand Performing Artist of the Month
Shane Williams and Warren Bazemore started writing together in the dorms of the University of South Carolina in the mid 90′s. Prior to signing with Sony/BMG/Essential records, Williams and Bazemore sold over 70,000 copies of their independent records. Since leaving Nashville and their record deal behind, Williams and Bazemore have relocated to the coast of South Carolina and rebranded under the name Finnegan Bell, playing over 120 shows in 2012 up and down the Grand Strand.
Over the years, Williams and Bazemore have shared the stage with a wide range of artists including: Nickel Creek, members of Allison Krauss and Union Station, Jars of Clay, Leigh Nash, Caedmon’s Call, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, members of Hootie and the Blowfish, Danielle Howle and many other great national and regional artists.
The goal today remains the same as it has always been: meaningful songwriting and engaging live shows that make listeners feel as if they have been invited into someone’s living room. With a blend of Americana, folk, rock and roll and gospel influences, Finnegan Bell offers a sound that is unique and rooted in the landscape of the region in which they grew up and call home.
